A nice campground with large sites, clean facilities, located a few miles from both I-80 and I-55. They don't have sewer hookups, possibly to limit stays (this is a casino campground), but they do have a dump station. The dump, however, is the worst design I've seen. The sewer hose has to drop down to ground level, then back up and over a cement trough wall. Then down through a steel grate into a pipe at the bottom of the trough. Then, the trough has to be rinsed out with a faucet nearby (you need to provide the hose), but the pipe is about 1/4 inch above the bottom of the trough, so it never completely rinses, if you get my drift! Finally, water collects around the outside of the trough, so you have to walk through it to get at your valves. This whole set-up could use some re-thinking. Other than this, however, it was a nice short-term stopover. They have a shuttle you can call to take you to the casino.

We stayed here because Two Rivers RV Park, where we usually stay, was full. These sites were extremely tight and close, there was mud everywhere, no cable TV available, and they were at least $20 more than any of the other nearby RV parks. I guess that explains why we were able to get a spot there when the others were filled. On the plus side, they have a very nice dog walk/dog play area, and a nice playground if you bring kids. We would not stay here again though.

I usually try to avoid KOA's, but this one was in a good spot for me to overnight on the way home. It is a gem! By far, the nicest KOA I have ever stayed at, and one of the nicest RV parks overall. The WiFi worked great and the park was spotless, The sites were long, wide and spacious, and the owners were as pleasant as anyone I've ever dealt with. They are so committed to detail that they even have imitation rocks (plastic) over the sewer connections "so the customer doesn't have to look at them". They open on March 1st for the returning snowbirds, so I'll be seeing them yearly from now on.

We stayed overnight both south and northbound for the winter season. Very nice park with huge pull through cement sites, good WiFi, and the most modern and cleanest rest rooms and showers I've ever seen. It is about 5 or 6 miles south of Memphis, so it's a good spot to stay when visiting there, and reasonably close even if traveling east or west.

This is a brand new RV park, and we came for three days but stayed five. Their pool is complete, but they are still working on WiFi and cable TV. Beautiful view of Mount Scott and the lake, and lots to see and do in the area. The park is very well kept and maintained, and the people running it couldn't be more helpful or accommodating. We will definitely stay again.

This park is beautifully landscaped, but that is about all the positives I could find for it. My main complaint is that they don't honor their price commitments. When I got there, they wanted almost $200 more than they quoted me for the month (yes, I had it in writing, but they still wouldn't honor their written price). The woman told me I was free to go elsewhere, and I would have, but this was our first trip to Texas and we didn't know how hard it would be to find another RV park on such short notice. The sites were so close that I actually had to step over the neighbors sewer connection when exiting my rig. In addition, overhanging tree limbs caused a problem trying to just get to the site. One neighbor told me he ripped his rubber roof trying to get in, and they had to cut a tree branch off to accomodate another. The WiFi was so poor that I had to go elsewhere to check e-mail (and you pay $40 per month extra for it, even though I was quoted $30). I would not consider staying there again.

Just used this as an overnight stop. Park is older and has very few amenities. Store was closed, wireless internet available, but didn't work very well unless you were next to the laundry room. We would stay here again, but only for short stays.

Nice and clean. Friendly owners, escort to site, free coffee and popcorn at office. Wireless internet available, but sometimes didn't work very well. We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely stay here again.

This is more of a seasonal resort, with many park models. Managers and residents are very friendly. It also has about 20 or 30 short term RV sites available. Very clean and well maintained. The pool is particularly unique as it is a natural spring with a cement patio built around the perimiter. There is a nature trail along the river to a small lake with a wood deck one can relax on. Cable TV and cable internet service are available by contacting the local cable company. We spent the winter here at a much reduced monthly rate of $495, and will stay here again in the future.

Located on Big Cypress Seminole Indian Reservation, 20 miles north of I-75 from Exit 49, in the Everglades. Very clean, well kept, large sites, and very peaceful. Close to air boat rides and "swamp buggy tours". No sign out front, so call for directions.

Just east of I-75. Very clean, neat, well maintained RV park, with large sites. Expensive, but great for the REALLY big rigs. Little or no shade, but nicely landscaped with small palms. Escort to site.

Eight miles east of I-75 near Punta Gorda. Mainly a long term, seasonal, park model park, with some overnight sites available. Clean and well maintained.

Very nice resort, directly across the road from a beautiful public beach on the Gulf. We were going to use it for a night stopover, but extended by several more days. We definitely will stay here again in the future.

Absolutely beautiful campground in a beautiful setting very near the Okefenokee Swamp. Several sites are right on the lake, and all of them are clean and well maintained. This is one of the nicest campgrounds we have found, and planned on staying two days, but extended by an additional week, and would have stayed longer if we could.

Just north of Thomasville, GA. Mainly long term, seasonal sites, but some overnight sites. Clean and well maintained. Surrounding area not particularly scenic or picturesque, and little to do in the way of activities. Good value for the price.

The campground is split into two sections: North Campground and South Campground. The North is much larger, 194 sites, with a camp store, playground, beach access (right on Lake Huron), with smaller sites and dirt pads. Very much of a family campground with lots of tents, pop-ups, and children. A lot of activity here. The South campground is more of an RV resort with asphalt pads, wide grassy sites, lots of shade trees, and very quiet. The South Campground seems to attract more of the larger RV's, and is more popular with people seeking peace and quiet. You can't see Lake Huron from the South Campground, but you are close enough to hear the waves breaking on the beach. We've stayed here many times and it's an absolutely beautiful park. On-line or phone reservations accepted. Fills up fast on the holiday weekends.

Beautiful campground, divided into an East (162 sites) and West (292 sites) segment. Lots to do including boating, fishing, swimming, etc. , in clear, spring fed lake. Lots of state forest land around for hiking, wildlife viewing. Make reservations early (over phone or on website at michigan. gov/dnr), as campground is very popular in the summer. There is also a North Higgins Lake campground on the opposite side of the lake, which I am not as familiar with, but is also nice.
